The children are provided for. I will not be accepting donations on their behalf.

If anyone is considering donating because of Elijah and Isaac, I would feel much more comfortable if that financial support went toward funding drug awareness and help programs in some way.

I am heartsick to find out about Michael’s passing. He was this amazing talent and humble human being.

The biggest regrets are those things you should have done but didnt. We both sang and danced and because of scheduling never got around to singing together or go dancing, now I won’t ever know. But at least I saw him perform in KC and for that memory I am grateful.

To his parents, he spoke of you with much love and respect and shared with me about his upbringing and his knowledge of a loving God because of you.

    Rejoice in Paradise Michael!

I just saw the notice. I liked Michael from the first time I met him in 2003 at the St. Louis star Ball. I took a number of lessons from Mike and Lila. Saw his son as a baby at the Star Ball. I am so sorry for Mike and his family. Rest in Peace my friend. Dan

How disgraceful for the mother of my brother’s children to besmirch his name after he’s gone! How gutless!! If you’re going to be so thoughtless at least use proper grammar smh!! You’re are a disgrace to the human race Lila! You’re children will recognize it when they are older. The vail of a good mother to shall pass!

I love my son and miss him terribly, he was such a special child to me and so many. He gave so much of himself to others. He grew up caring for the underdog and telling others about Jesus and the importance of accepting Him as Savior and Lord. He was so gifted and talented in so many things his music and his memory was so precise not everyone knew but he had a photographic memory. When he took the acceptance test for the military he aced it 98 or 99% correct.
