Sharon Elaine Ford

Sharon Elaine Ford, 64, passed away peacefully at home with her family at 7:35 p.m. on December 1, 2016. She was born July 29, 1952 in Gainesville, Florida to Jasper Durual Ford and Patricia Lois (Wadsworth). She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Harry L. Cronk.

She is survived by her two adoring daughters, Melissa JoAnn Davis of Mountain Grove, MO. and Kimberly (Kym) Dawn Brown of Chesterfield, MO. as well as five grandsons: William Charles Heilman, III (Bubba) and fiancé, Brittney Mulkey of Thomasville, MO., Dustyn Michael Heilman, and wife, Miranda of Mountain Home, ID., Caleb Tyler Campbell and girlfriend, DeShae Miller of Rolla, MO., Trevor Dean Campbell and Treyton Dane Campbell, both of Chesterfield, MO. She has two great-grandsons, William Charles Heilman, IV (Liam) and Dustyn Michael Heilman, Jr. (D.J.) and one great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her parents, Allen and Patricia Cronk of Jacksonville, FL., brother, Dave Cronk, and wife, Denise of Lakeland, FL., and sisters, Kate Cronk of Jacksonville, FL and Mary Freant and husband, Minard of Ruskin, FL.

She had a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends she loved very much.

She spent her life working hard and instilled great values of love, support and work ethic in her family and friends. She loved many “surrogate” children as her own and many, many people called her “Mom” or “Mamaw”. She was very much The Rock. She was certain of her Salvation because of her belief in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and did not live or die in fear, but in peace.

    Sharon was an amazing and strong woman. She was adored by all who knew her. My heart aches for you all. I love you and pray for peace. Sharon is resting in her heavenly home, free from pain and suffering.
