St. Louis Cremation Rich RogersJ. Richard Rogers “Rich” Passed away peacefully on November 12, 2015. Richard Rogers was born January 25, 1926 in Corning, Arkansas. Richard served in the 10th Mountain Division during WWII in Italy and received a purple heart. Richard was employed for over thirty years at McDonnell Douglas in avionics.

Richard was a devoted husband for 67 years to Vida Mae (Lawrence) Rogers, a cherished father of Brenda Pryor, Ramona (John) Kristmann. A beloved grandfather of Kristen (Russ) Ventimiglia, Rachel Pryor, Jayne (Mark) Aschen, Laura (Tim) Vivian and a dear great-grandfather to Bryce Vivian.

Services:

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 2pm in the Overlook Ballroom at the Heart of St. Charles Ballrooms 1410 S. Fifth Street, St. Charles, MO 63301

A Military Honors Ceremony will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Military Honors Ceremony time will be announced at the Celebration of Life Memorial Service.

    We appreciated Rich’s great sense of humor that he displayed at so many MDC/Boeing Sages events over the years. May God bless and keep Vida and family.
