Paulette Mitchell

Paulette Mitchell, 71, of St. Louis, MO passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019.
Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great – Grandmother and Sister.
Paulette is survived by two daughters, Mary Daggett of Imperial, MO and Cindy (Jerry) Farris of Barnhart, MO. Five grandchildren, Jeremy, Stacey, Heather, Joshua and Stephen and Eight great-grandchildren. One sister, Sandra Lee (Ronald) O’Toole and one brother James (Joyce) Crook.
Paulette had been ill the last several years of her life. This never stopped her from caring about others around her. She resided in a nursing home due to no longer being able to care for herself at home. Even though she could no longer care for herself, she always wanted to make sure everyone around her was well and taken care of.
I spoke to the hospice Chaplin on her last day and his statement was: I would come to visit Paulette and would bring my guitar and play music and sing. Paulette always wanted to go to an area of the nursing home where the other residents could enjoy the music as well. She never wanted anything just for herself. She never stopped giving of herself up until the very end of life.
At Paulette’s request, there will be no public service. Condolences to the family can be made online at stlouiscremation.com
