Patricia Ann M. Duffy

Was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on April 11th, 1937, to Dave and Rose Boyle. She passed away on February 16th, 2018. Patty’s love for life and many talents led her all over the world. She moved to Chicago as a child, later married Robert Duffy and raised two sons. In the 1980’s, Patricia moved to Germany selling life insurance and providing financial planning to military families. She returned to the United States to reside in Saint Louis where she spent her remaining years.

Patricia was a devoted member of Saint Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, she enjoyed being a member of the Ladies Auxiliary group, was an active participant in Eucharist adoration and served as a Eucharist minister, also working tirelessly creating baptismal bibs for parishioners.

Patricia is survived by her beloved son John Duffy, Aunts Jenny (Coon) and Lee(Davis), Uncle John Luposello and many cousins & friends who loved her dearly.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Duffy Jr.

Patricia was a lifelong Catholic who will be missed for her outgoing personality, her generosity, her kindness, her cooking & baking, and her smile. Truly a precious giving child of God.

Interment will be at St Mary’s Cemetery in Evergreen Park, Il.

Services will be held at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, 3854 Flad Ave, 63110 on Friday February 23rd.

Viewing from 9 am to 10 am

Mass at 10 am with reception to follow downstairs.

    Patty was like a dear sister to me. I was married to her wonderful Uncle Tom. She was such a loving, caring, giving, energetic, empathetic , warm person. I will miss her.
