Pamela Parmeley

Pamela Parmeley (Nee Witt) of Waterloo, IL born to Richard and Alice (Armistead) Witt on January 17, 1956 passed from this life on July 19, 2016 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Louis due to complications from COPD. Pamela was married to Clinton (Dink) Reed in September 1973 and had two sons, David Reed and Richard Reed. Pamela was a long time member of the maintenance team at the South County Walmart where she exceled in her job and made numerous friends. She attended church at New Beginnings Church of God in Waterloo, IL. Pamela took great pride in her granddaughters, Madeleine and Sophie. She enjoyed playing and coloring with them. She loved her family and could be counted on to make every family gathering memorable with her humor. People who know her have a story to tell.
Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Reed in 1999. She is survived by her sons, David (Rebecca) Reed of Valley Park, Mo and Richard Reed of Waterloo, IL , her granddaughters, Madeleine and Sophie, her parents, Richard Witt and Alice (Armistead) Witt of Waterloo, IL. , one brother, Richard(Patsy)Witt of Springfield, MO. , three sisters, Brenda (Michael) Harris, Connie (fiancé Dustin Williams) and Tammie(Ronnie) Brown all of Waterloo, IL., nephews, Michael, Steven, Samuel, Randy and Logan, nieces Crystal and Candace, her great nieces Taylor and Cadence and her loving family pet, Rudy.
Pamela was an outgoing, fun loving person, so in her honor there will be a Celebration of Life Saturday, July 30th at 2PM. It will be held at New Beginning s Church of God at 235 Grand Ave. Waterloo, IL. In lieu of flowers please consider the needs of the family.

    Brenda, Connie, Tammy and Family,
    So sorry for your loss. Pam always had a smile for everyone. She is that bright star in the sky at night. She will be there when you need her. She will truly be missed. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
