Myron Marcellus Hamilton, the second youngest of seven children, was born to the union of Charles Stephen Hamilton Sr. and Mary Lawrence Hamilton on November 16, 1935 in St. Louis, MO. Myron was called to his heavenly home on Friday, December 1, 2017. He is preceded in death by both parents, his sister Ann, and brothers Charles and William.
Myron grew up in St. Louis, attending catholic schools and graduating from DeAndreis Catholic High School. He was soon hired to work for the United States Post Office. As a dedicated employee, he was advanced to a supervisory position where he remained until retirement. After high school he married Eula Maxine Hamilton (McConico). From this union, 3 children were born.
Myron enjoyed gardening, bird watching and anything related to animals. He also enjoyed watching baseball and going to the casino with his friend, Donald Baker.
He leaves to remember and mourn his passing, two daughters, Lynne Williams and Karen Coleman; a son, Myron Hamilton Jr.; two sisters, Alice Sayles and Marolyn Douglass; one brother, Lawrence Hamilton; six grandchildren, Erika, Brianna, Jennifer, Nicholas, Latisha and Mareka; seven great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, David S. Douglass; a loving friend and companion, Ellen Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He also leaves to mourn his passing, his loyal pet Smokey.
