Max Hollensbe Jr. of Decatur Illinois, passed away Monday May 7, 2018. Max was 83. He was the oldest son of the late

Max and Ruby (Huddlestun) Hollensbe of St. Louis Missouri, he is also proceeded in death by his brother James and his nephew Max Kyle Hollensbe. Max is survived by his dear friend Jack Bolen of Decatur Illinois, and his brothers Ira (Cheri) Hollensbe of St. Louis Missouri, and Joseph (Margaret) Hollensbe of O’Fallon Missouri, as well as many nephews, nieces, and several grand nephews and nieces.

Max was a member of the First Christian church of St. Louis Missouri. He graduated from Soldan/Blewett High School and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a lifelong auto body repairman, and owner of Max Auto body of Decatur Illinois. He was a member of the Academy of Model Aeuronautic.
