Beloved wife of the late F. Walter Hamilton. Dearly loved mother of Walter G. (Jerry) Hamilton (Carolyn), Janice F. Long, and Gregory H. Hamilton (Linda). Loving grandmother of Jerry Lee Hamilton, Scott Hamilton and Pamela Johnson; Jennifer Kelly and Mandy Crider; and Mark, Todd, Walter and Timothy Hamilton. Great-grandmother of 11 and great-great-grandmother of one. Devoted sister of Helen L. Nance. She was preceded in death by her parents Hugh and Hazel Nance, brothers George Nance and John Nance, and her sister Rosemary Trimble.

Lylas was a wonderful wife and mother. She took great pride in her family and her home, never really wanting to travel very far.

She was a loyal friend and loving sister. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
