Kenneth E. Stuckner

Kenneth Edward Stuckner, 87, of Eureka, Missouri, formerly of Dunedin, Florida (20 years), Culpeper, Virginia (20 years), many assignments overseas (25 years), was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at St. Andrew’s at Francis Place Nursing Care Facility in Eureka, Missouri.

Beloved husband of the late Rosemary P. Stuckner, devoted father of Karen S. Finnegan (Sonny) of Eureka, Missouri, and son Kevin C. Stuckner of Mechanicsville, Virginia. Brother to Charles L. Behrend (Ellyn) of Brick, New Jersey. Loving grandfather to Grayson and Makenna Finnegan, Joshua, Aaron, Megan, Kaitlyn, Andrew and Rose Stuckner. Cherished brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to so many.

Kenneth served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the Army Air Corp during the Korean War. Upon conclusion of his military service, he began a career with the State Department as a telecommunications officer, working behind the scenes in many and various U.S. Embassies around the world, including Cypress; Manila, Philippines; London, England; Republic of Congo, Africa; Bonn, Germany; and Madrid, Spain.

Ken was a very talented craftsman, always helping other fix and repair anything that needed it, in or outside the home. His boundless energy and dry, quick witted sense of humor endeared him to all he met. May he rest in eternal peace.

Services: Visitation and Rosary service at 9:00 am, with Mass at 10:00 am on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Most Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 350 E. 4th St., Eureka MO, 63025. Following the Mass there we be a procession to Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery for 11:30 am interment with full military honors at 11:45 am, before returning to church for a memorial luncheon.
