For me, a legacy of love spanning the better part of fifty years. The memories of our blended families and the cherished moments of family vacations, the lake house, all those bridge club nights. The list seems endless and all so special to me and I’m sure everyone.
The marriage of my father to your mother in their twilight seemed so right to me. I never felt I could express well enough, the peace I felt when my father passed. That peace was due to your mom. Joy did such an amazing job caring for dad at the end. But as life long friends, That’s not so much a surprise. They were so happy together albeit for too short a time.
We had awfully good parents, the Greens and the Wilmerings. We are all blessed by that.
