John Rowane

John “Hammer” Rowane, surrounded by his family passed away November 29th, 2018 at the age of 61. His wife Roxane Rowane met him at heaven’s gates. He missed her terribly after her passing in 2014. He was an amazing husband, father, Pa Pa, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He leaves behind 3 beautiful daughters Holly (Nick) Rowane, Angelica (Sir) Conover and Catie (Jerraud) Conover. His Grandchildren Justin (17), Jerraud Jr. (11), Janice (10), Jaylee (4) and Jaylen (3) were his reason for living. He had many stories to tell about each one of them. Anyone who knew Hammer knew all the best stories about his grandkids. He fought hard through 3 years of Dialysis to be here for them.

Hammer worked for St. Louis County Parks and Recreation for 30 years before he retired in 2007. He was a member of the INVADERS MC for 27 years. He cherished his brotherhood with the Invaders like no other. They were more than friends, they were brothers.

He is preceded in death by his Father, Joseph Rowane, his Mother, Kathleen Rowane, and brothers, Mike “Mongo” Bilbrey, Dennis “Crasher” Jamison, Danny Rowane and Tommy Rowane. He is survived by Joe (Diane) Rowane, Ronald Rowane, Kathy (Brent) Rodenborn, Tim “Airborne” Rowane and Margaret (Tom) Volkenant. Also, his best friend and brother of 50 years Jim “Fitz” Fitzgibbons.

There will be a celebration of life held on Saturday December 8th, 2018 (7pm) at 9228 Badger Ave. Breckenridge Hills MO, 63114. Please come share jokes and laughter with his family and friends.
