Jeffery Schneider

Jeffery Allen Schneider was born April 19, 1974 in St. Louis, MO to Mary Schneider and her late husband Larry Schneider, Sr. He grew up and lived in South St. Louis with his parents and siblings. Later in life he met and married Cindy and together they had a daughter-Jennifer-who he loved very much and was so proud of.

Jeff really liked to work on cars and was a self-made mechanic. He was so smart when it came to engines and mechanical things, and he always knew what to do to make his cars work better than anyone else’s. Another of his favorite past times was traveling. He had many friends and family in Florida and he had happily driven to visit them so many times that he didn’t even need directions to get there anymore. Like any guy, Jeff also enjoyed sports-baseball, football and hockey particularly, as well as video games. He also had great taste in movies and music, and loved to enjoy both with his family and friends. Jeff was also very creative and could draw very well, and in a practical sense that creativity served to make him good at whatever he put his mind to. He liked animals, collecting coins and trading cards for his favorite sports teams and players.

Overall, most people will fondly remember him as a real good guy who could always be relied on to help you. He was a “giver” who asked nothing in return. He had a kind nature that cannot be forgotten.

Jeff passed away suddenly on January 23, 2016. No one expected him to leave so soon, and his presence is dearly missed. He leaves behind so many people who thought the world of him and loved him beyond doubt.

He is survived by his loving mother Mary Schneider; his beloved daughter Jennifer (Matthew) Gibson; his adored grandson Nathan Gibson; his dear siblings Larry Schneider, Jr. and Tracy Schneider; his nephews Larry III and Caden Schneider and nieces Bayli and Isabella Seay; his Florida family, aunts Patty (Patricia), Virginia and Hazel Schuller and cousins Amy, John and Leslie; many other relatives and friends.

A visitation was held for Jeffery on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 2-4:00 pm at St. Louis Cremation, 2135 Chouteau Ave., St. Louis MO 63103.

    Jeff,
I know your dad and you are always around because I see your orbs. I’m so happy every time I see it and it makes me smile every time I see it; and I know you’s are in God’s hands. I love you. Love MOM (Mary).
