As a childress friend, I have memories of his fun loving, easy going style. He made people laugh, no matter what he had to do. I have seen him dress up like the blues brothers, act like Steve Irwin, even put a dress on.

    I will miss you Jason.

Please accept our deepest condolences during this difficult time. Jason was a ray of sunshine and true friend to Nathan our autistic nephew during Barry and Krystal’s wedding. Only a person with a beautiful soul could accomplish that. Someone so special can never be forgotten.

May God bless and comfort you,
    Linda and Noe Vasquez

I don’t have the words to express how sad I am. I knew Jason for a few short years, my son Dominic and son in law Mike introduced him and Sarah to my family and it was instant love. This young man was one of the sweetest souls I have ever met. He came to my daughters graduation party and gave her a book that he cherished, in it he wrote her a beautiful note..Your family is in my prayers. I cannot imagine your pain, but thank you for raising such a wonderful, loving young man.

I just heard the news today about Jason. I was his second grade teacher. I’m so sad to hear that he was struggling. Jason was always one of my favorite students. He was so sweet and creative and I remember all the amazing cartoons he would draw me. I saved so many of them. I can still see him standing at his front door in his pj’s waiting for me on his First Communion Day because I was running late trying to get to all the parties. He was so patiently sitting there. My heart is broken for his father, I know Jason was his world. Sending prayers to him and all who knew him as an adult I’m sure he was amazing. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I have just recently gotten to know Jason as a professional conscientious man who gave me a feeling of someone taking complete care of me during our elections. He always went above and beyond and I am so sorry for all of our loss. May he rest in peace. Please know I will be lifting your family in prayer.

    Dear Jim and Heather,
What a lovely memorial this morning for Jason. While I have only know Jason for a couple of years, they were special years. I loved watching him work on stage. It was my honor to light him in Cameron Dobbs at KTG. On behalf of my fellow theatre co-harts, I send the peace that passes all understanding to comfort you.
    Jason’s star will always shine!

    Sigh.

I learned about Jason’s death this morning. Jason was a friend of a few short wonderful years.

I met many of you at his birthday party. What a special time you prepared for him. He was so very excited about everything. Jason took the time to check on me to make sure that I met his friends and family and to ensure that I was having a good time. I had a great time – a perfect celebration. He sent me on my way with my pockets filled to overflowing with little bottle of Jameson that sported a photo of him you had attached to the bottles. I still have several of them. It was a fun evening that celebrated, Jason.

I am praying with you as you continue to learn to deal with Jason being gone from your lives physically. His spirit and love remain with us always.

If reflecting on the way my life has been punctuated by my encounters with Jason, I know that while I am less for his leaving, I am more, we are all more, for his having been here.

    Love you Buddy.

Jason – I was going through some old boxes and found some articles you sent me after you graduated from DB. I decided to google you and found this page. You always made me and your classmates laugh, and I marveled at you creative mind. I am sorry for never connecting back with you. I know you will be missed by many.
