Actually Jack settled in Saint Louis in 1975 with a eclectic group of friends living on Forest Park Blvd. at the Jean Paul Sarte Memorial No Exit Boarding House….his housemates included: Robert Cablish, Ross Humphrey, Kevin Makin, Shannon, Dallas Saunders and Camille Thom. Jack was always front and center in the kitchen at our famed “Gourmets Club” dinners.
Jack moved to Washington DC to work with me in 1977 at the Shoreham Hotel eventually returning to Saint Louis.
We remained best friends throughout the years and never let more than a few weeks go by without phoning each other despite the miles. For many years we always talked at Christmas while Jack was on his annual visit to spend time with his mother and family. I will miss Jack greatly. Love Dallas
