Hugh Headley

Hubert Headley, 79, of Hawk Point, MO, born March 24, 1939, in St. Louis, MO, died Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Mercy Hospital South.
Hugh served in the US Air Force National Guard 131st tactical fighter wing from October 1, 1961 to August 20, 1962. Hugh (Whitey) was a proud retiree of General Motors after 48 years of dedicated service, where his Father also retired. Hugh enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing and gardening; he was an avid Cardinals fan and religiously watched the games. His granddaughter, Quinn, was the light of his life. Hugh will be greatly missed and remembered by his family and friends.
Hubert was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert I. and Wilma M., nee Caldwell; and one brother, James Headley, and one sister, Rhoda Headley. Surviving are two children, Matthew Headley (Lori) of St. Louis, MO, and Shannon (Brian Kenney) Headley of St. Louis, MO; one granddaughter, Quinn Kenney; a sister, Anita Leemon of Kirkwood, MO; and beloved nieces and nephews.
