Georgie passed away on June 12, 2018. She was born on July 7, 1923 to the late George and Josephine Franck. Georgie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Carson C. Meyer.
Georgie is dear mother to Marty (Diana) Meyer and Sherry (Rick) Scott. Dear sister to Dorothy Reckenberg and Norman Franck, and the late Helen Ochsenknect and Lillian Swor. Dear “Mimi” to Krystal Meyer (Chris) Wygas, Julie Meyer (Jason) Weldele and Amanda Meyer. Great-grandma Mimi to Carson and Katy Wygas. Dear Aunt, Great Aunt, cousin and friend to many. Georgie loved playing cards, visiting with others and going to church.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday June 16, 2018, at 2:00 pm. Greentree Community Church, 100 Kirkwood Place, Kirkwood, MO. 63122.
There will be a celebration of Georgie’s life following the service. Snacks and beverages will be served.
My sympathies to you all on Georgie’s passing. I knew her through my friend and neighbor, Dot. I always enjoyed hearing about the fun Georgie and Dot had with the grandkids and great-grandkids.
Aunt Georgie, you are one of the most beautiful human beings I have ever known. When I came into the family in 1976, you accepted me with open arms. As our family grew, you opened your home and heart to us. I will never forget you. God bless Marty, Diana, Sherry, Rick and all the grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as the extended family. Linda, I and our children love you so much. Heaven certainly gained another angel but our world lost an angel. Until we meet again.
My love and blessings to your family in the loss of Georgie. She was the most fun to be around! She brought real joy to all of us. I’m glad I got to know her here and for eternity.
