Frank served his country as a US Marine and was in the Vietnam War. Frank lived in Dogtown for the past 50+ years and belonged to St. James the Greater Parish. A carpenter by trade but dabbled in everything. He loved making things with his hands and was always coming up with something new to make/create. He was very involved in the community and loved helping with the yearly flea market up at the church and also loved dressing up as the Easter Bunny or Santa and going up to the school board to visit the kids.
Frank had a green thumb end immensely enjoyed working in the garden across from his home. You could find him there on any spring/summer day. He took great pride in that garden and was always creating new things to put in it. A few years back, the city renamed it the Frank Seiferd Dogtown Community Garden which was a great honor to him and the work he put into it.
His hobbies over the years: being a boxing coach, he loved dancing and won many trophies, bee keeping, hunting and fishing. He still loved to cast a line any chance he got. Anyone that knew Frank knew he was one with nature. He will be missed by family and friends.

Dad, I am with a troubled heart. Your recent passing is hard to bare, and I feel like not only did I loose my father but my best friend. I am thankful, for all the lessons in life that you had passed onto me to ensure that I would be sustainable and independent in life. Dad I want you to know that you had done right by me and my siblings. You will forever be in my heart and ” No son could be ever prouder to have a father as you “.
