Forrest J Melson Jr suddenly passed away February 10, 2018. Forrest was a loving son, father, brother, husband, brother in law, grandpa, uncle and friend. Born July 11, 1964 in St. Louis, Mo to Forrest J Melson Sr and Carol L Melson (Stull) who proceed him in death. Forrest leaves behind a loving wife Lori Melson (Oprych), 3 Children Johnathan Melson, Joshua Melson, Maranda Brueggen (Melson), step daughter Jennifer Sherman and step son Matthew Sherman; 4 Grandchildren Arianna, Sage, Jace, and Jaxton; 3 sisters Judith Trevisano (Melson), Laura Faulkner (Melson), and Barbara Huckstep (Melson); Nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.
Our hearts are broken and tears are endless but our memories are immeasurable.
Funeral services are being held at St Louis Cremation 320 Jungermann Rd, St. Peters Mo 63376 on February 16, 2018. In lieu of flowers family is asking for donations through go- fund.com.
Met Forrest hunting with Nate Bretz and Michael Schindler over the pasted years . He loved life and his Family , talked about his wife , children and grand kids. We talked about being military veterans . It was an honor to know Forrest . Our thoughts and prayers for all God Bless ????????????????????
My condolences goes out to the family. We haven’t seen each other since Basic Training. He was the first person I met at the MEPS in St Louis. We flew down to Benning together and ended up in the same training platoon. God Bless his family.
