Felicitas Huberta Gibbons

Felicitas Huberta Gibbons was born on June 10th 1927 and left family and friends on Saturday June 13th 2015 while under the care of Missouri Baptist Hospital.

Felicitas was born and raised in Winterberg, Germany. She was the last of nine children born to Albert and Anna Schnorbus. She enjoyed her youth in Germany where she loved being in the outdoors. She enjoyed skiing and hiking in the mountains and woods. She moved to Michigan, after marrying Robert Donald Lee whom she met while he served in the U.S. Air force. They lived in Battle Creek, Michigan and later Felicitas moved to Kalamazoo where she resided the majority of her life. She moved to Missouri and took up residence at Bethesda Orchards in Webster Groves in 2010 to be near her family. She had a love of sports, world history, geography, knitting and reading.

She is survived by both of her daughters, Karna (Michael) Baker of Indianapolis Indiana and Carolyn (John) Chosay of Eureka Missouri, which had blessed her with 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was also survived by her sister Friedal McCormick in Germany.

There will be no funeral as her final resting place will be in her home town of Winterberg Germany.
