Faith Lorrelle Thompson

Faith Lorrelle Thompson, 81, of Florissant, Missouri, died November 26, 2017. She is survived by her four children, Steven Thompson, Chris (Tim) Valli, Pete (Carolyn) Thompson and Carol (John) Kohlberg, and five grandchildren: Charlie and Gabe Kohlberg, Emily Thompson, Erin Thompson and Grace Eller.

Lovingly known as Florella (a combination of her first and middle names), Faith was a passionate gardener, lover of music and the arts, a home-taught gourmet and an exceptional seamstress. She is remembered for her love of life and tireless dedication to her children and grandchildren, as well as her commitment to truth and fairness.

A remembrance celebration of Faith’s life will take place in Florissant, Missouri, at a later date. Online condolences can be posted at www.stlouiscremation.com/faith-l-thompson.

Instead of flowers, Faith preferred that contributions be directed to the Children’s Cancer Research Fund, in remembrance of her grandson, Jeremy Kohlberg, who was taken by brain cancer earlier this year. https://childrenscancer.org/.

What a beautiful woman. Such class. She may have had a bit of a rough road to travel but did it with such class. She worked very hard for her family, walking to bus stops, taking cabs, even trying to turn down rides from Buster. Perfectly satisfied with her accomplishments. I really didn’t admire her until I was older, realizing then her strengths. She is now at well deserved peace.
