Ernest Feiteitra, Jr.

Ernest Feiteira Jr, was born to Ernest Sr. and Loretta Feiteira (Kawohi) on September 6, 1951 in Wailuku,Maui Hawaii.

Ernie, Pineapple, Ernie Boy, and Jr. are some of the names that many Family and Friends called him. He was raised in Paia Maui Hawaii. Ernest graduated from Maui High School. He spent most of his days at Hookipa Park surfing, hanging out with friends, and twin bruddah Levy.
Ernest moved to St. Louis back in the earlier 80’s and joined the Local Cement Masons Union and continued his career as a cement finisher/laborer. He brought his Hawaiian heritage to St. Louis and never lost his love for his Island. Anyone that met Ernest knew that his love for people was genuine. He was a kind hearted and loyal individual almost to a fault. Ernie retired and spent most of his days walking and fishing.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his adult children: Jessica “Jessie” Kaleialoha Feiteira-Thomas (Andre), Eric Haleakealii Feiteira (Cathy), Nicholette “Kanani” Kanani Hoku Feiteira, Amalia Jean Feiteira. He had 7 grandchildren (Jasmine, Alexis, Desiree, Andre Jr., Alona, Jade, and Joseph) and 2 great-grandchildren (Mehki and Mehlani).
His siblings: Levy Feiteira Sr. (twin), Sharon Mili Feiteira-Rarick (Scott), & GraceMary Watanabe-Romias (George), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, & brother-in-laws, other relatives and friends will miss his warm heart.

Dad you were my pops, my friend, and my brother. Whenever I needed you, you were a call away, and I was a call away for you. Even though your death now separates us, I will continue to have your back as you protect mine. Although I will never feel your touch again, you shall forever touch my heart. We both spoke words we wish we could take back and replace, but we held no punches. That was our relationship, that was us! At the end of the day I was your son and you were my father. I love you and you love me. So go home, home to Maui and finally be free and enjoy peace in paradise.
-See you in the sun Pops

May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sunshine warm upon your face and the rains fall soft upon your fields. And, until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand rest in peace Ernie
Thank you for two terrific kids Eric and Jess
