Edward “Steve” Eichhorn

Edward Steven “Steve” Eichhorn, born in St. Louis on November 13, 1953, passed away suddenly on October 7, 2018 at the age of 64.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Mary Eichhorn and in-laws Bill and Nan Byrne.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Bernadette Eichhorn (nee Byrne).

He is lovingly remembered by many people, including his children Edward Steven Eichhorn Jr., and Christine Marie Eichhorn and grandchildren Brennan, Reese, and Alec Eichhorn and Connor and Caera Parker.

Loving siblings and their spouses, Susanne Pelikan (Tom), Ronald Eichhorn, deceased (Pat), Susette Rohrer, deceased (Don). And siblings-in-law Kathy Bayer (Bill, deceased), Mary Beard (Harry), Betty Steinlage, Terry Moenning (Jim). He was an uncle, great-uncle, and great-great-uncle.

Steve enjoyed going on vacation with Bernadette and family to Florida. He also enjoyed going to the “Drill” on Tuesdays with his friends of many years. Steve started his career as a St. Louis city police officer and ended his career as a security officer at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals.

He worked many years at Catholic Supply and O’Byrne Religious Goods, where he made many friends.

A visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, October 20th at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Church located at 4900 Ringer Road St. Louis, MO 63129 with an 11:00 a.m. Memorial Mass to follow.

    So sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. I will keep his family in my prayers. Heaven just got a little more fun!
