Earl Harrison Armstrong, Jr.

Earl Harrison Armstrong, Jr., 75 (1943-2019), Marines Corps Veteran and long time resident of Truxton, MO, passed away on May 14, 2019.

Earl was a long serving employee with Schnuck’s Supermarkets and Teamsters Union Local 688 member until his retirement in 2005. Earl loved spending time at home on his 19 acres, where he would take in the view with his beloved pets. He spent his time listening to the Blues game and his favorite, the Cardinals baseball team. He lived for visits from friends and family.

Earl was preceded in death by his father, Earl Armstrong, Sr. and his sister, Pamela Armstrong

Earl is survived by his wife, Marilyn Armstrong, his mother, Mary Armstrong, his daughter, Kimberly (David) Draves, his grandson Craig (Amanda) Flanigan, his siblings, Linda (Bob) Middleton, David Armstrong and Richard Armstrong.

Earl was a great-grandfather of Carson Flanigan (10yrs), Carter Flanigan (8yrs) and Ainsley Flanigan (3yrs). Earl Leaves behind many nieces, nephews and great friends.

A service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, June 4 at 11:00 a.m., with a luncheon to follow at the Butterfly House at Faust Park on the Garden Terrace. .

    We’re so sorry for the loss of your love one. It’s such a hard thing to go through, but we need to understand that one day we’ll be with them again. Remember the good times which will help you go through this bad time. God be with you all as you mourn your loss.

    Earl was a good friend of mine sorry to hear of his passing have been trying to find him for the last many years God bless his family

    When I think of playing ping pong I think of earl.we use to stay after work playing ping pong.he was always in a good mood.god bless my friend earl and his family
