Dana W. Turner

Turner, Dana W., passed away Friday, June 19th at the age of 61.

Dana was born December 21st, 1953 in Decatur, Illinois, a son of William and Shirley Creager Turner. He married Elizabeth Houser on January 26th, 1985 in Lincoln, Illinois.

Surviving are his wife, son, James Turner, daughter, Deidre Turner, sister, Rhonda Turner and brother, Jess Turner.

He worked as a welder with the Thrall Car Company of Clinton, Illinois for 12 years before relocating to St. Louis to work for the City of St. Louis Water Division as a water treatment operator for 20 years.

Dana enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and also working on carpentry projects in the home.

    I’m so sorry to read this news about Dana. My heart goes out to you. I can’t even believe it and I’m just wondering what happened to him…hoping you all are ok too. We all go back many years and each one of you, including Dana, has a place in my heart and memory. I’m so sorry.
