We are very saddened by the passing of our dear brother in Christ, Steven. He is now truly at peace, but his kind gentle spirit will be missed. We will never forget the first time we met each other out on the church’s parking lot. It was such a heart warming caring moment. He and Wendy also proudly shared the same October birthday month celebration together as we ate cake and ice cream. We will cherish these memories until we meet again in Glory. At the Heavenly Reunion, what an awesome time we will have at that celebration too. Joan we just want you to know that we are praying and thinking of you during this difficult time. May God’s love continue to cover you with peace and comfort. Leon & Wendy Holder

Sis. Joan, at a time when words are so hard to find…know that you are cared for very deeply and loved greatly by so many. While we may feel helpless at times in knowing how to comfort you, the Lord knows exactly what you need. He will minister peace and comfort to you in many unexpected ways. He will walk with you through the coming days. God will see you through even though sometimes it’s hard to see through your tears. But even when you can’t see, God has promised to be there loving you, strengthening you & giving you what you need to face each day because He has said in His word “Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:15) No matter what happens, God will hold you close & see you through this difficult time because you are so precious to Him. God cares right down to the last detail. (James 5:11) Bro. Steve was a joy to be around and will be greatly missed.

Steve had a true giving and loving heart and spirit. I echo Brother Dennie’s words in saying that even through his trying and tough physical challenges Steve usually had an encouraging word for Meir someone else. It always put a smile on his face when he was able to bless someone with his famous chicken and dumplings. I will miss the talks we had and the laughs we shared. Steve will truly be missed here on earth but Heaven is gaining an Angel!
