Charles Hein

Charles Robert Hein passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015. Charlie was a passionate man who loved to cook, scuba dive and cause fun mischief. He grew up on Long Island New York with 3 other siblings and later lived in Florida and finally St. Louis. The ocean was one of his favorite places to be. Whether he was walking the shore line or diving into the waves it was where his heart always was. In St. Louis he became a part of Places for People and it changed his life. He met so many people and learned a great number of things (including how to use a computer!) and it was truly a special place and community for him.

Charlie is survived by his Mother, Mary Hein, his sister, Barbara Hein, Nephew Robert Hein and his wife Becky and their daughter, Natalia, His Niece Jessie DeJackome, her husband, Jared and their daughter, Lorelai and several cousins, aunts and uncles. He is predeceased by his father, Robert and his brothers Richard and William. Services will be Thursday at Places for People at 11 am.

Thanks for all the laughs and good food, Uncle Charlie. You’ll be very much missed. Midnight (the kitty) is at home with us and is great company for Natalia. Rest in peace. Love and miss you. <3
