Celestine Dixon

Celestine Dixon was born on September 3, 1951 to Victoria Holmes (Bryant). She was the youngest of the two daughters born to Victoria, and was a good sister to Elnora (Dismute).
As an adult, Celestine worked in the hospitality industry which included housekeeping at the Clarion Hotel in downtown St. Louis. In her spare time, she liked to do crossword puzzles and listen to “old school” music of the 80’s.
Most of all, Celestine loved her family. She was always happiest being around her children and grandchildren, and the close friends that she had.
Celestine passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017 at St. Louis University Hospital, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She leaved behind to cherish her loving memory: her daughters, Lenora Holmes and Yolanda Dixon; her grandchildren, Trinity Dunn, Dominique Creighton, Landon Brown and Leonard Brown; two great-grandchildren, Koi and Tyler Brown; a nephew, Dewey Williams; as well as a host of cousins, other family and many friends.
Services: A Visitation will be held for her on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 1-4 pm at the Chapel of St. Louis Cremation, 2135 Chouteau Ave., St. Louis, MO 63103.
