WELLER, CATHERINE E. “KAY”
Age 87, surrounded by family and fortified with the Sacraments on Thursday, September 28, 2017; Loving mother of John (Rosemary) Weller, Michelle (Don) Breuer, Mark (Nancy) Weller, Michael (Mary) Weller, Mary Kay Devine, and Tom Weller; Grandmother of 16; Great-Grandmother of 13; Loving sister to Mary Roth, Charles Lamm, Lorretta Heidenfelder, John (Beverly) Lamm, Annette (Bill) Kern, and Dolores (Bud) Miller; Devoted aunt, great-aunt, and friend.
Kay was born into a family of nine children to Gladys and Norbert Lamm. She grew up in Shrewsbury where she returned for the last thirty years of a long, happy life. A jovial personality, her friends at St. Joseph’s Apartments called her “chatty Kathy”. She ran bingo, parties, and card games at St. Joseph’s., and was an avid Cardinals fan. She will be missed by her children, who loved to joke and tease with her until the very end.
SERVICES: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Cure of Ars Church, 670 S. Laclede Station Road, St. Louis, MO, 63119 on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10:00am. Donations may be made to Mary, Queen and Mother Center, 7601 Watson Rd. Shrewsbury, MO, 63119.
What a great lady!, Alway so fun to be with her, will be missed.
