Bertha Lackey Jackson
survived by daughter, Linda (Charles) Blough of Peoria, IL. Preceded in death by husbands Woodrow P. Lackey and Otha Dow Jackson, daughter Cathy (Shelly) Camp of St. Louis. She has 6 grandchildren, Beverly (Dan) Reese of Kentucky, Lisa (Kevin) Dailey of Illinois, Jon (Marlas) Camp of Missouri, Cindy (Pat) Karl of Missouri, Amy Blough of Illinois and Diana (Jim) Menne of Alabama, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services: Visitation in the Chapel of St. Louis Cremation, 6:00-8:00pm, Tuesday Oct. 6th. Service Tower Grove Baptist Church, Wednesday October 7th, 12:30 with interment following at Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials to Tower Grove Baptist Church.
WE WILL MISS OUR GREAT-AUNT BERTHA. SHE WAS ONE IN A MILLION. SWEET LADY.
Aunt Bertha was my great-great aunt. It was a pleasure visiting with her just a few months ago at a small family reunion. My thought and prayers are with her family, wonderful lady and we will miss her.
You girls were really lucky that you got to have your mom that long. Mom (Aunt Thelma) was 78 when she passed away.
