Apryl Ann Reinsch

Apryl Ann Reinsch (nee Saulich), age 74, died peacefully on September 22, 2015. Beloved wife of Albert Lee Reinsch, Sr.; loving mother of Albert Reinsch, Jr. (Jennifer), Kristine Kohlman (Don), and Heather Langlois (Steve); devoted grandmother of Anya, Taylor, Brennen, Alaina, and Dylan; dear sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. Preceded in death by her parents Zivko and Anna Saulich, brothers Milan (“Mike”) Saulich and Velemir (“Bud”) Saulich, and sister Helen Jadkowski.

Apryl was born on April 22, 1941, in Saint Louis, Missouri.? She grew up in North Saint Louis City where her parents owned a small neighborhood tavern. Apryl graduated from Central High School, where she had been a cheerleader.

She met her husband, Albert Lee Reinsch, Sr., when they were introduced by a mutual friend.? They married on April 2, 1966, and were married for 49 years at the time of her death. Apryl was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. Apryl’s grandchildren were the center of her life, and she spoiled them well with love, laughter, and special treats.

Apryl had a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and worked as a teacher at Bel Ridge Elementary in the Normandy School District until she retired.? She had many hobbies over the years and especially enjoyed traveling, cross stitching, tole painting, and floral design.? Apryl was an active member of the Boone Country Garden Club where she made wonderful friends, and she took great pride in serving as a flower show judge.

Apryl was deeply loved by many and will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015, at 3:00pm at Graham Chapel on the Washington University in St. Louis campus, 6475 Forsyth Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63105.

    Apryl sounds like such a wonderful person and I wish I had known her personally. I imagine she was much like her kind, intelligent, warm daughter, Heather, who is a loving wife and mother. Godspeed, Apryl.

    My prayers are with all of your family. Apryl was always so kind to me. I remember being in your wedding. I’ll always teasure my fond memories of Aunt Apryl, Uncle Al and family through the years as I was growing up.
