Alice Gayle Brown

Mrs. Alice Gayle (Parker) Brown, of St. Louis, Missouri, born on September 1, 1938 in Pomona, Illinois, to the late Lettie Fay (nee Summers) and William Alonzo Parker, passed away at age 79 on July 6, 2018 in Chesterfield, Missouri. Mrs. Brown was a registered nurse who enjoyed working in the mental health field until 1980. Gayle was married to Glenn J. Brown for over 61 years. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Parker and William Parker. Gayle is survived by her husband and their daughters, Debra (Buddy) Pupillo, Denise Gurnow, Donna (Gerry) Weiler, D. Kimberly Whittle, and Karen Brown; her sister, Marilyn Russo; brother-in-law, Ed Gentzler; grandchildren, Christopher (Shawn) Pupillo, Diana Pupillo, Nichole (Anthony) Massey, Andrea Gurnow, Candice Gurnow, Carina Gurnow, Steven (Gina) Gurnow, Ashley (Cory) LaFaver, Olivia Whittle, and Savannah Whittle; and great grandchildren, Adelia Pupillo, Lexi Massey, Lizzi Massey, Carter Massey, Aaven Massey, Adelyn Massey, Stella Skasick, and Dexter Swank; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Gayle enjoyed seeing the birds gather and feed at her many feeders, taking car rides, watching the television show Gunsmoke, looking at flowers, listening to music and spending time with her husband and family.
