Direct Cremation or Burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery: No Charge
For any veteran who dies in a Veterans Administration Medical Center (in the St. Louis Area) we will provide a direct cremation or direct burial to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for whatever burial benefits are available to the veteran. There will be no cost to the family.
Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery: $1370 registered, non-registered $1495
- Transportation of the body
- Preparation of the required documents and authorizations for cremation
- Cremation, alternative container or temporary urn (suitable for burial at JBNC)
- Coordination and supervision of services, with Military Honors, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (same service offered for the spouse of a veteran without Military Honors)
- Free online obituary with guestbook, slide show (up to 25 pictures) and music
Memorial Service followed by Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery: $1670 registered, $1795 non-registered
- Transportation of the body
- Preparation of the required documents and authorizations for cremation
- Cremation, alternative container or temporary urn (suitable for burial at JBNC)
- Guest Register Book, Memorial Cards, Acknowledgement Cards
- Coordination and supervision of services in the Chapel of St. Louis Cremation
- Coordination and supervision of services, with Military Honors, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (same service offered for the spouse of a veteran without Military Honors)
- Free online obituary with guestbook, slide show (up to 25 pictures) and music
