Marjorie “Kay” York-Schneider was released into the hands of our loving Lord on Friday, March 5, 2010. Beloved partner-in-life of Valery York-Schneider for 33 years; devoted parent of Mitchell York (& Jeanette, daughter-in-law); grand-parent of Christopher Larsen, Cecily York, and Gabriel York; loving daughter of Marjorie I. Schneider and the late Samuel B. Schneider; sister of Camilla Schneider, Chris Schneider, Keith Schneider; niece of Martha “Jane” Morrison; aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Kay was a medical research coordinator at Washington University; sociologist/cultural anthropologist; respectful, humble, and kind social justice activist; and believer of inherent goodness in every human being.
