Favazza

Paul Joseph Favazza passed away on July 1, 2012.  Beloved husband to Trudy Favazza (Nee Taub), father to Stephanie Wells and Megan Favazza, father-in-law to Jason Wells and Nikolaus Degler and devoted, fun-loving PaPa to Elizabeth and Benjamin.  Brother to James Favazza and Joanne Ostrowski.   Son of Anne Favazza (nee Palumbo) and the late Sam Favazza.  Uncle and cousin to many as part of a large, loving family.  As a self-employed CPA for over 30 years, Paul was a notable local businessman who truly loved his profession.  Paul was a long time pillar of the Hazelwood/Florissant area and a noteworthy supporter of the Hazelwood West Fine Arts program.  His interests included travel, soccer, and spending time with his grandkids.  His gentle, kind demeanor made him close to many and a friend to all.

Services: A memorial mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 7 at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, 3860 N. Lindbergh, Florissant, MO 63034, followed by a light luncheon and gathering.  Donations can be made in his name to the MS Society (http://www.nationalmssociety.org ) or the St. Louis Arc (http://www.slarc.org).
