Mary A. Traw
Mary A. Traw (nee Henley) lost her short but very courageous battle with cancer and joined her beloved son Michael James (Linda) Gallagher in heaven on Sept. 16, 2014. She is survived by her daughters Pattie (Tony) Venuti, Kathy (Richard) Toon and Margaret Horrell, sisters Dorothy Shaw and Kay Pulliam; 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews and friend to many.
Mary was an avid sports fan, loved the Cardinals and Rams, her birds and animals, cruises, beaches, and the casino.
The family will hold a celebration of her life for all family and friends on Sunday September 21st at the home of Richard and Abbigayle Bennett.
Donation in memory of Mary can be made to the deGreef Hospice House. Mary’s family expresses appreciation to their caring and compassionate staff.
I’m so sorry for your loss – please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Also please remember all the great gifts Mary brought to all of her family and the wonderful life you had together.
My condolences to the family and friends of Mary. I was never fortunate enough to meet Mary, but I know one of her daughter’s, so know that Mary’s love of animals and her compassion and respect for all was carried on to her children. My our Lord’s peace with with you all at this time.
