Jonathan Elwood Ferrin

You are missed beyond measure but live on in the hearts of those left behind never to be forgotten

On December 9, 2014 at the age of 25, my son, Jonathan embarked on a new path of limitless potential. Those he shared his life with mourn the loss of his presence in our lives and all the future milestones we anticipated sharing with him. We also celebrate his new journey on which we know he will find love, joy and peace.

Jonathan was a beloved son, friend, co-worker, grandson, step-son and step-brother to those who survive him and cherish the time we had together. He was a talented graphic design artist with a growing portfolio of commissioned works. Jonathan served a term in the United States Army Reserves and was working towards an Undergraduate degree in the Arts. He loved music, playing video games, eating and preparing gourmet foods and drinking fine coffees and tea’s. He enjoyed reading, table top games, hiking, and quirky television shows and movies. Jonathan had a witty sense of humor, gentle blue eyes and a beautiful smile that lit up the room and the lives of those he shared himself with.

Jonathan is survived by his mother, Hope Heller, father, Kenton Ferrin, step-siblings Tyler, Seth, Shane and Emma Ferrin, his paternal grandparents Bruce and Ardith Ferrin, many friends and extended family members whose lives were touched by him.

A Remembrance Memorial will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 from Noon to 2:00PM at St Louis Cremation and later the same day at Amos Funeral Home in Kansas.
