Dean Ames McCallum

Dean Ames McCallum, born August 26, 1929 in Boston Massachusetts, beloved only child of Gladys and Arthur Michael McCallum, passed away December 29, 2014, after a long battle with heart disease, diabetes and renal failure. Dean was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 50 years Joyce Cooksey McCallum. He is survived by his son Michael Mark McCallum of Kirkwood, Missouri; his daughter Elise Mathis McCallum of Los Angeles, CA, and his grandchildren Kate, Molly, Margaret and William McCallum. Dean attended Trinity University in Hartford, CT and Yale Law School and was a veteran of the Army Counter Intelligence Corps serving during the Korean War era. He later worked for Exxon and then General Dynamics Corporation in St. Louis for many years. Services: There will be a service celebrating his life Friday January 23, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the St. Mary’s Chapel of St. Michael’s and St. George’s Episcopal Church, 6345 Wydown Blvd.
