Alicia Tara Binsley

Alicia was an incredibly special person who cared for everyone and every animal unconditionally. She was a nanny, a student, and a volunteer EMT. As a daughter and sister she was loved tremendously.

Alicia left this life too early and will be sorely missed by everyone she ever touched with her unique blend of awesomeness.

Alicia is resting in the arms of Jesus now.

We love you and miss you terribly,
Dad, Mom, Jerome, Shadow, Spike, Holly and Shiloh

**In lieu of flowers my parents and I have decided that we’d appreciate donations of time or money to:

The following two organizations are great places that help the two things she cared deeply about.

Her dogs were her life:
Operation Kindness or whatever local animal shelter you’d prefer
operationkindness.org

She was self-employed as a nanny for 2 years, and babysat her entire life
Kids in Distressed Situations

She suffered from lymes disease for the past 3 years, and we’d appreciate donations to an organization that helps improve the quality of life of the sufferers.

Alicia was one of a kind. As her teacher, I can not fathom losing someone who was so incredibly kind, sweet and of course always with a smile on her face. I can not remember a moment where she was not always trying to make someone smile, laugh or where she was being a geniune friend. I am sorry for your loss, and she will be dearly missed.

I know in my heart that she is in a better place and that she will be watching over all of us. I know that your pain is greater because you lost your daughter and sister. I only continue to keep your family in my prayers. Alicia was such an amazing person and she will always be in my heart. Love you all.

Alicia and I went through EMT class together. She was an amazing person and will truly be missed. I am so sorry that I was not able to make her Memorial Service yesterday. My son had a football game and I know she would have said that that is where I needed to be. She was so sweet to my kids as well and there was not a moment that went by that I didn’t think of her. May God be with you and your family.

    Love,
    Michelle

I remember Alicia when she was a young pre-teen. I remember her sweetness, kindness and just having fun at church as pre-teens do at that age. Alicia was blessed to have a family who adored her.

    Cathy, Brian, Jerome,

We are so shocked and sad to hear about Alicia. Seems like only yesterday you were keeping Channing and Deaven, Cathy. I can see Alicia at the piano.

John and I have been there. There are no good scenarios for losing your child. This seems especially hard. Praying for you guys.

I feel extremely blessed to have known Alicia. Although it was for short amount of time she touched our lives in so many ways. I am grateful my son got to experience Alicia’s loving and caring spirit, she was so wonderful with him. I am shocked and very saddened to hear of Alicia’s passing. My heart aches for the family. I will continue to pray for the Lord to bring you peace and comfort. Alicia had a strong faith in God and I am certain he was there to greet her with open arms. May Alicia’s soul rest in peace.

Mom, Dad, family and friends of Alicia,
I am so sorry for this tragic loss. I had only just begun to know Alicia in my class this semester, but it was clear to me that she had a heart for people and was a giver. She was so positive and upbeat in spite of her struggle with lyme disease. I appreciated that she shared about this experience with me; it made me feel more connected with humanity. That is what it was with Alicia; she connected easily with others, she made others comfortable. I can’t help but think that those beautiful virtues were carefully guided in her life by mom and dad and family. My heart is breaking for you and your loss of this precious life. Peace be to you and yours.

    Dear Kathy, Brian, and Jerome,

Our hearts ache for your loss, and we are holding you all in prayer. Alicia is resting in the arms of her Savior now, and one day you will be reunited where there are no more tears, no more sorrows.

One of the best memories we have of Alicia is when she twirled our Caitie around the dance floor at Heather Lashley’s wedding. What a pair!

    We love you all,

Alicia and I went to Spring High together. We shared a few classes and we would always help eachother out if needed. We would chat on the sideline during my football practice as she was a trainer, and exchange smiles and waves when nearby. We were not as close as many but I know she had a great mind, and a kind heart. We lost touch after graduation and to find out she has gone already is very sad to hear. If more people lived the way Alicia did as I remember, it would be a much better place. My prayers are sent for her family.

Alicia was one of those rare young people who could always be counted on to liven up the place. She was genuinely caring, genuinely kind. I loved her spunk! She touched so many hearts. To have known her in her school age years and to see the beautiful young woman she became makes this all even harder to believe. Alicia will always be missed!

I knew you for a short time but felt like I knew you forever. You where very unique, friendly, kind, sweet, caring, and a good friend. I wish things didn’t end the way they did between us. I regret leaving it where I did and our last conversation we had. You touched my life in many ways and I’m thankful for the time I did have with you. You really touched my life and i will always remember you. Truth is I am sad and lonely because there is no you.
