Winters, Marian (Steckel), 70, Imperial, died May 10, 2008 at her home with family by her side. She was born July 2, 1937 in White Hall, IL, the daughter of Clarence F and Gladys L. Steckel (Boone), who preceded her in death. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, aunt and friend. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Arnold. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, George J., 5 children Michelle (Bill) Grill, George, Mike, Mindy (Tim) Bauer, and Matt (Tania). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren Jessica (Jared) Mather, Billy Grill, Kyle, Matthew and Alyssa Bauer, Abby, Sarah and Matthew Winters and 3 great-grandchildren Autumn Grill, Conner and Camryn Mather. She is also survived by her brother Mark (Joyce) Steckel, and sister in law Yvonne Steckel, many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her siblings Frances (Bill) Overby, Paul Steckel, David (Donna) Steckel and Nancy Roark.
Funeral Information
Memorial service will be held Friday May 16th, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church (Founders Hall) Arnold, MO.
